Between Here and There—Walking is Thinking (Final Year Project)
Walking is more than a means to get from Here to There. For centuries, people have associated walking with thinking—artists have made walking a part of art, poets and great thinkers have attributed great breakthroughs in their work to walking. This project explores 5 different types of walking and its effect on thinking. The outcome consists of 1 research book and 5 experimental folders that use different mediums to express the insights of each walk.

Between Here & There—Walking is Thinking, is a final year project devoted to the study of walking. Inspired by the likes of Science of the Secondary, this project explores if walking can be more than just a walk. Or more than a means to get from one place to another.
The research includes walking in different cultures and religions, walking in art and art movements and walking as mentioned or adopted by philosophers or writers. 5 different quotes were extracted from the research and was responded to in 5 different walks in 5 specific locations. The walks were then documented in video and expressed through print.
